Zondag 26 januari om 15.00 uur opent Grafisch Atelier Hilversum de expositie “Volume #2”, een presentatie van nieuwe publicaties door grafisch kunstenaars verbonden aan Grafisch Atelier Hilversum. Mels de Gooijer verricht de opening om 15.30 uur.
Uitgangspunt van de tentoonstelling is de “zine”, een zelf-gepubliceerd tijdschrift in beperkte oplage. Dit heeft een uitgebreide en diverse collectie nieuw werk opgeleverd. De meeste bundels zijn geproduceerd in oplages van 10 tot 100 exemplaren. Er zullen ook unieke, volledig handgedrukte bundels in oplage van
1 te zien zijn. Daarnaast worden individuele prenten en procesmateriaal getoond.
Deze expositie is is een vervolg op Volume #1 van januari 2019. Meer dan 40 verschillende zines zijn nu te koop. De ideale gelegenheid om tegen schappelijke prijzen unieke werken aan te schaffen.

Sunday January 26th at 3 pm we’ll open the exhibition “Volume #02”, a presentation of new publications by artists associated with Grafisch Atelier Hilversum. Mels de Gooijer will perform the opening at 3.30 pm.
Starting point for this exhibition is the “zine”, a self published, limited edition magazine. This has resulted in an extensive and diverse collection of new works. Most of the zines are produced in editions of 10 to 100. There will be unique and fully handmade bundles in an edition of 1 as well. Individual pieces, process material and a small library will be available to give context to the zine phenomenon and the creative process.
This exhibition is a sequel to Volume #1 of January 2019. The 40 different zines are available for purchase. A unique opportunity to acquire unique pieces at reasonable prices.
